The Looting of Detroit

More bad news from my beleaguered home state. It seems that Detroit ex-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who already was forced out of office after gross misdeeds, is in trouble again for raiding the city pension fund. Walter Russell Mead has an essay on the story which is a must read. Kudos to the Detroit Free Press for doing the legwork to reveal this sad tale.
